How to fill a seeder in fs22

What I found when I tried again earlier today is that the cultivator on those seeders only tills. It does not cultivate. I think you still have to cultivate and then you can use the seeder/cultivator combo to till and seed. Not sure if the tillage gives you an increased yield or not. Hi guys.
